Medical Centre Information
Mount Coolum Medical Centre
- Open Weekdays From 8am until 5pm; Saturdays 8am until 2pm.
- So we can best meet your needs, please inform reception if your matter is urgent or non urgent. All staff are trained in triage and we allow for unexpected urgent medical matters.
- If you require a long consultation, for whatever reason, please let reception know.
- Patients who cancel without an adequate notification may be charged a cancellation fee
Referrals:
Our practice regularly engages with local health services; specialists, allied health and hospitals. If required, your GP will provide sufficient client information to plan and facilitate optimal care.
Noosa Health Centres offer a recall and reminder system for patients. We are committed to providing you with preventative healthcare, meaning notices will be given for certain immunisations, procedures and treatments.
Recalls and reminders are optional, so please let your doctor or one of our reception staff know if you would not like to be recalled or reminded.
Our practice prides itself on excellence in healthcare and offers after hours care for patients of the practice. Please call 0412 714 285 to be connected to the Doctor On Call.
For non-patients, after hours care is available through 13HEALTH (Queensland Health 13 43 25 84) and the Medical Deputising Service on the Sunshine Coast
Our practice offers home visits on a case by case basis for urgent care or end of life care. Our doctors also provide regular Nursing Home and Hostel visits for patients of the practice.
Please note that results will not be given over the phone . It is important to make a follow up appointment with your doctor to discuss your results. Our practice uses SMS reminders to recall you in the event of abnormal results . Please advise reception if you do not wish to receive recalls via text message. If you would like a copy of your results please email: management@noosahealth.com.au
We are always looking to improve our practice and therefore your feedback is important to us. We have a suggestion box at reception or alternatively you can email us with any comments or complaints. If you are not satisfied with the handling of your complaint, it is your right to contact the Office of the Health Ombudsman at www.oho.qld.gov.au

We are located off David Low way near the IGA and the chemist on the corner of Suncoast Dr and David Low Way, Mount Coolum
Patients will be billed a fair fee for the services provided.
Generally, DVA patients, pensioners and children under 16 will be direct billed. All other patients are required to pay the full consultation fee, part of which is claimable onsite or at your local Medicare office.
